Coming from a film and television production background of over 35 years, Deborah Wolpert is one of the first woman owned camera, lighting and audio rental houses in NYC. She established dvDepot, in 2003 by using her past experiences as a DGA member (Director’s Guild of America), Line Producer and Camera Operator for MTV Networks, as well as her various positions in the field over the years. dvDepot has successfully grown over the past 20 years to become one of the go-to video production services company in New York City and has just completed their newly renovated Studio in LIC, NY.  dvDepot specializes in a wide spectrum of programming which encompasses reality TV, corporate videos, feature-length films, documentaries, television series, promos and everything in between.

dvDepot is a full-scale video production house. Offering equipment rentals, crewing capability, editing services, a studio with greenscreen and various backdrops. Our facility includes a substantial inventory of cameras, audio, grip and lighting gear, housed in our own building in a production friendly location. We have private parking spaces as well as gated courtyard which provides a great place for crew lunch breaks or an office outside.

Operating as a Production hub, we also can supply your project with the equipment it needs anywhere to any location across the US, as dvDepot is TSA approved. We have supplied several networks shows with equipment and multiple packages for different locations with overlapping shooting schedules to meet the challenges of production. In the beginning of 2021 dvDepot completed their studio renovations by installing soundproof walls, insulating the ceiling and reattaching the lighting grid with Lite Panel Gemini lighting for the studio backdrops including a new greenscreen and installed a new floor, plus created a separate equipment room which gives the studio a pristine look.
